Maybe a little off topic, however, Here is a great healthy recipe that not many people have tried - Fried Yucca!
Yucca contains a high amount of vitamin C and carbohydrates. It is also a good source of dietary fiber and contains approximately 120 calories per 1 cup serving.
1 pound fresh yucca (cassava), cut into 3-inch sections and peeled
In a pot combine the yucca with enough cold water to cover it by 1 inch. Boil then slowly simmer the yucca for 20 to 30 minutes, or until it is tender.
Preheat oven to 350? F.
Transfer the yucca with a slotted spoon to a cutting board, let it cool, and cut it lengthwise into 3/4-inch-wide wedges, discarding the thin woody core.
Spray cookie sheet with the nonstick cooking oil spray. Spread yucca wedges on cookie sheet. Cover with foil and bake for 8 minutes. Uncover and return to oven to bake for 7 minutes.
Season with butter and salt alone is fine.
Good Job!

Hey There Howtooven,<br

Sorry just saw this.
The oven is not like a microwave and the only difference that an oven full of potatoes will make is that it will initially cool the oven more (due to the large mass of cooler objects - the potatoes- going into the oven. But the potatoes themselves, each individually,. will not take significantly longer to cool once the oven returns to cooking temperature. I did that many potatoes one time and If I remember it took 60 minutes.
I also preheated the oven to the maximum - 500f as I new that many potatoes would cool it more. I baked them at 400. But it also depends upon the quality of your oven.

Hi<br

When I look at your website in Chrome, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Along the same lines,, I'm a full-time college student and I also work part-time during the week. I cook for my boyfriend and myself every night, but I'm running out of ideas. I'd like something simple, not too expensive, but yet delicious. I've made chicken cordon-blue with green beans and macaroni and cheese, Tacos, Cheeseburgers, Buffalo Chicken Salads, Popcorn Shrimp with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables, Frozen Lasagna, Chili, etc.. . I've got a George Forman that I love to use and a crock pot. Any idea? I'd greatly appreciate it.
Catch you again soon!

Hey Howtooven,<br
