The Deni 10400 Quick-n-Easy 10-4-Quart Convection Oven -  How does it compare to the competition?

After reading many reviews and talking to some owners here is a list of the top Countertop ovens and where they stane:

1) Everyobe seems to love the Jetstream and ranks it BEST for cooking BUT they are not durable and don’t last long.

2) The  Nuwave is ranked second along with the Secura halogen – they are both Convection countertops like this with infrared heating

3) The Deni comes in third BUT is usually ranked as the most durable. THe nock on the Deni is the fan is not as strong so the otoom center of baked products like Pizza takes longer to cook.

Recipes for the Nuwave Oven #2 – Corn on the Cob!
This is so easy and tastes much much better then boiled corn.

However, my personal preference is barbequed corn on the cob and nothing, not even the Nuwave, touches that!

Nuwave Corn on the Cob Ingrediants

  1. Whole ears of corn – DON”T remove the shucks (or the husk as some call it).
  2. butter
  3. Salt

Nuwave Corn on the Cob Directions:

  1. Peel the husks back like you are pealing a banana but DON’T pull all the way off.
  2. Remove the tassles and wash. Shake off any water.
  3. Peel back the butter wrapper and use it like a big magic marker to rub butter onto each corn ear (not the husks, the corn).
  4. Shake salt and or pepper on to each corn ear now. It will stick to the butter.
  5. Now pull the husks back over the corn. I like to use a twisty tie to close them at the top (this is how you do it for cooking corn on a grill too by the way).
  6. Now place on the liner pan or 4-inch rack and cook on high for 18-20 minutes.
  7. Let cool a little before pulling off the husks. they will be HOT.

1. Mix the canola oil, two eggs, the sugar  and whole milk in large bowl.
2.Now Beat the ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

5. Add bananas to the combined batter and continue to mix.
6. Pour batter evenly into the baking pan with divider in place.
8. Now put the baking pan on the 1 inch Nuwave Oven rack.
